Construction Management for Infrastructure & Process Improvements The work consisted of several individual projects, including the rehabilitation of a cement grinding mill as a regrind facility, a 36" storm drain and paving project at the loading facility, the repair of a landslide (120ft high bank) threatening the cement storage silos, rehabilitation and seismic retrofit of a 40 year old main conveyor transfer tower, installation of a replacement hillside conveyor and plant road upgrades. The services included establishing project scope, selecting and monitoring outside consultants, reviewing and approving their work, preparing bid documents, evaluating bids, facilitating contractor mobilization, quality control inspection of the work in progress, contract administration including pay requests and negotiations for payments for extra work, approving schedules, monitoring progress, cost control, reporting to management and complete site documentation using proprietary software.
