Project Services - CSR Rinker Cement Plant

Provided selective project management services for a complete new process line in an existing cement plant in Miami, Florida. The initial services were advice on a $58 million design/build construction and installation contract including form of contract and contract terms.

The services were extended to include the preparation and negotiation of the design/build contract and then assistance with developing the overall project schedule. This was followed by the preparation of approximately 20 equipment supply contracts.

Further work included the administration and coordination of the owner's quality assurance program for all equipment manufactured in North America, and the expediting of manufacture of equipment made in Mexico.

Assistance with design/build contract close out, evaluation and negotiation of extra work and differing site conditions claims. Settlement of all outstanding claims.
